Initial Notification Letter: Notifies the debtor that Edward T. Burke & Associates P.C. has been retained in reference to a debt and demands payment in full.

Partial Payment Arrangement Letter: Demands partial payment from debtor and notifies debtor of previously agreed to payment schedule by which a debt will be honored.

Settlement Offer Letter: Upon client authorization, ETB&A P.C. will issue a settlement offer letter based upon the client's authorized settlement authority.

Payment Reminder Letter: In order to ensure that debtors remit payment as promised, ETB&A P.C. will send professional reminder letters out on your behalf.

Debt Validation Letter: As required by the FDCPA and the TCPA, upon request we will provide any debtor with a Letter of Validation, proving the debt is owed to you.

Debt Dispute Form Letter: To provide a simple one letter solution for debtors disputing debts, ETB&A P.C. provides a Debt Dispute Form Letter upon request.

HISTORICAL

Mr. Edward Burke became involved in the collection industry in 1969, representing both the public and private sectors. Mr. Burke was general counsel for G.C. Services from 1969 to 1983. During his professional career, Mr. Burke participated in the creation of the final draft of the congressional bill which became the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (PL95-109) which regulates third party collections, including attorneys. ETB&A was founded in 1989. Our client base consists of banks, corporate/commercial credit extenders, retail and medical clients. Our office provides quality third party debt collections achieved by a strong and knowledgeable collection and management staff.

STAFF

The collection office consists of a highly dedicated staff with many years dedicated to the collection of debt. Matt Foster, General Manager, is continuously evaluating and assisting collection managers and account representatives to ensure that client and office standards are maintained and/or exceeded. ETB&A is proud the longstanding efforts our employee base. Currently our collection staff has been with ETB&A for an average of five years. The majority of our collection staff has a minimum of five years experience in the collection industry.

EDUCATION

ETB&A management provides ongoing training to keep our collection staff up-to-date on the latest changes and legal interpretations concerning debt collection. Additional emphasis targets the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (PL95-109), individual State laws and client-specific issues. All collection employees and new personnel must pass a comprehensive test on the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (PL95-109) at the conclusion of the training program before they are allowed to initiate communication with the customer.

LEGAL

The litigation section is headed by Edward Burke, and the Attorney at Law maintains control of this office. The administration and monitoring of accounts forwarded to network attorneys are also handled through this office. Edward T. Burke & Associates, P.C. is a member of the National Attorney Network (NAN) and is also affiliated with the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA).
